These regional water companies have no standardised method of raising charges.
Where companies have multi-site locations spread across the entire British Isles, without in-depth knowledge of the charging structure of each of these companies, it is virtually impossible to establish whether the water charges levied in each area are correct or not.
The water industry in Scotland is still a nationalised company being an amalgamation of the three original authorities: West, East and North, into the present Scottish Water.

The Opportunity
The water supply companies themselves do not have the time, resources or the inclination to examine each and every one of their customers’ bills to ensure they are receiving the best deal. So in most instances areas of possible saving are overlooked or go unidentified.
Likewise, most companies do not have the time, resources or knowledge to examine their own bills in detail. So they end up paying water bills that do not necessarily reflect the services they are being supplied with.

UK Water’s Approach
UK Water Services specialise in taking a detailed look at the water charges being billed at each individual premises of the clients. To ensure the clients need and receive what they are paying for, UK Water looks for the answers to three basic questions:
- Is the client receiving all the services they are being charged for?
- Does the client need all these services in the form they are being delivered?
- Are these services being charged at the most favourable tariffs available?
These questions involve in-depth analysis of water bills for each location, followed by a site survey by the company’s in-house qualified surveyors, all of which is conducted at the expense of UK Water Services.
Where areas of potential savings are identified, UK Water Services pursue the matter with the water company concerned to resolve the issues of the incorrect charging, and where appropriate, recover monies overpaid in the previous years.

Fees
Fees are based entirely on achieved results and represent an agreed percentage of proven annual reductions payable for two years only, and a similar proportion of refunds secured against payments made in previous years.
It is clearly understood that at any location where no saving is forthcoming, there is no fee liability whatsoever.

Allows location site finding by postcode together with site dimension by area and boundary. Calculations either for downloading or onward electronic transmission.
Autocad
Ordinance survey mapping library to enable the electronic downloading of specific site plans, enabling the drawing up of sites.
Sage Accounts System
Company accounts system constantly updated on our own website.
Website
Custom written software via a secure web site which holds the tens of thousands of clients’ names on a database which can be read by alpha / name / postcode / address / town / county / industrial site. Also held are the details of all contracts, applications being made, past invoices and access to the company accounts system. (There is also provision for an investor page.)
